Students from all over India applied to be a part of it. NID Bangalore was invited to be a part of it and 12 students travelled to Hyderabad. It was indeed a wonderful experience.
The student projects have been detailed below.
In-store Asia is an initiative of VMRD (India’s only magazine on Visual Merchandising and Retail Design) to drive Inspiration, Innovation and Transformation at Retail. The event is meant to successfully bring together Solutions, Opportunities and Ideas.
NID’s DRE was invited to setup a stall at this year’s edition of InStore Asia at Mumbai on the 21st-23rd February.
The entire space design was visualized and constructed by the students themselves, wherein the inspiration was drawn from “pixels”; as pixels come together to create an image.
The whole space was categorised as:
- Form & Structure
- Branding & Packaging
- Retail Fixture & Furniture
- Retail Space
It was a great opportunity and an interactive platform for the students to showcase their work and seek knowledge from industry professionals across the country.
